Hey buddy, you got the weight switched around. The GT500 weights just over 3900 lbs.

Not to mention the GT500's actual rear wheel HP is 440 to 480. Also the ZO6 is 700 Lbs lighter than the Shelby.

Also. This GT500 is NOT stock, it's closer to 600hp at the crank. This race was also at 4200ft above sea level. As you know high altitude effects n/a cars more than FI cars. Also the driver behind the wheel of the Z06 was far from a professional driver, lol.

My GT500 has a Diablo Programmer and a Steeda Pulley that is all.

We Raced at Fernley Raceway in Fernley Nevada.

I am not a Professional Driver. But I was on that day. My reaction times where around .60

My best time at this track was a 12.86@ 117mph

We where at aprox 4200 feet above Sea Level.

There is NO Stage 2, 3 or 4 or what ever kit in my GT500

I was Running BFG Drag Radials.... Don't buy em they Suck...

The Z06's best time that day "as far as I know" was a 12.99

And yes I spanked the SRT8... it was no competition for the GT500 or Z06

The Z06 is a FAST car. We raced several times that day and he almost took me one time, The race was close enough for us to laugh about it... even though he drives a Z06 he is a nice guy.

Was the Z06 wearing drag radials? If not it wasn't really a fair race.
I run drag radials and have no problem pulling sub 1.7 60' times.

The only thing worse than you, is the guy in the other lane, going 12.99 in a 10 second capable ZO6.

10 second capable LMAO, by who ranger.. Yeah ok, never duplicated but bring up his time which was at a negative DA track. FYI, the same track that Ranger ran a 10.85 at, a bone stock 1997 Cobra ran a 13.0 at. That track is NEGATIVE DA, all cars run 3-4 tenths quicker, and you want to compare it to a track that's 5,000 feet ABOVE sea level. Way to sound like a moron.

Love IT !!! Msrp to msrp the GT500 is far better.Throw the Kenne Bell supercharger on the GT500,still 10K cheaper,It'll SMOKE the vette, PERIOD. A better comparison will be Caroll Shelbys Supersnake which brings msrp to msrp close to each other. It's not fair to bring in the markup in comparing. I don't see anyone laying down 20K extra for the Z06 anyhow. Let the Excuses begin,driver,tires and so on. LOVE IT !!!! GGBIW
